He is a founding member of Theatre Downtown and currently teaches technical theater at Valencia Community College. Some of his favorite roles have been Amos Babcock Bellamy (Fantasticks), the Drunk in the Hotel (Camino Real), Tom/Phyllis/Leslie (Sylvia), The Cheerleader (Bleacher Bums) & The Ghost of Christmas Past (A Christmas Carol). Aaron would like to thank his wife Chris for her love and support.

Aaron’s Favorite Drink: Crown & Ginger Ale.

Karene S. Vocque (Suze/Producer/Stage Manager) -

Karene is tickled pink to be a part of this show in so many ways. As an actor her most recent production was A Christmas Carol, playing a crotchety cockney woman (what else are you gonna do with a 6 foot 1 skinny woman?). Stage Managing credits include shows in Seattle, Washington, Orlando, Florida and several Off-Broadway shows in New York City. She has a B.A. in Theatre and, as you would expect, is unemployed. Anyone looking for a super duper and all around great employee? Thanks to my parents and my husband. I love you!
Karene’s Favorite Drink: Margarita on the rocks with sugar on the rim.

John Biggan (Stephen) -

John is very excited to be working with Jaye and Karene. He was last seen on stage with Karene at Theatre Downtown in A Christmas Carol. John received a BFA from the University of Texas at Arlington and worked professionally in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex prior to his move to Florida almost a year ago. He has really enjoyed his time here and is honored to be taking part in his first Fringe Festival. Thanks to everyone, especially Lauren, for their support!

John’s Favorite Drink: Vodka & 7 with Lime.

Raye Teyssier (Tina) -

Raye is thrilled to be a part of this production. A graduate of Rowan University's theater department and an aspiring stunt actor, she was most recently seen frightening small children at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. Other credits include "Can I Talk to a Manager?" at the Philly Fringe, a 4.48 Psychosis selection in "Snatches" at Melbourne's Union Theater (Australia), and the original cast of Joseph Robinette's "The Fantastic Return of the Fabulous Fable Factory". She can be seen making balloons and playing on stilts throughout Central Florida. Much love to Jay and to the Brothers Kemp.

Raye’s Favorite Drink: Margaritas and Bavarian Drinks.

David Thomas O’Donnell (Derek) -

David is ecstatic to be a part of the '09 Orlando Fringe with such a great group of artists. David loves performance and feels he is only limited by his decided lack of talent. It is for this reason he has high hopes of accomplishing very little theatrically now and always. But thanks for coming, although it's too little too late to help me.

David’s Favorite Drink: Skinny Bitch.

Photo Not Available

J. Lee Vocque (Director/Playwright/Producer) -

It’s funny. Give him fictional characters to write dialogue for and he’s fine. Ask him about himself and he draws a blank. Jaye has written a handful of shows, directed a couple dozen, and acted in a few dozen more, none on this coast (until now). He thanks Dan for teaching him what “funny” means, his father for teaching him the true meaning of “work ethic”, his mom for dealing with his lack of ability to write clean shows and for always laughing at his jokes, and finally his amazing wife for putting up with him on a daily basis.

Jaye’s Favorite Drink: A bottle of Jack Daniels & a crazy straw

PRESS RELEASE

April 13, 2009

To: Orlando Media

Subj: Press Release

Contact: Jaye Vocque
UltrasuedeProductions@yahoo.com
www.orlandofringe.org/node/314
www.barroomphilosophers.blogspot.com

Kill Date: May 23, 2009

Ultrasuede Productions will present Barroom Philosophers, an original work by playwright J.
